Watch Face

Replacing a human figure's head with something else is one of the easiest ways to create a striking montage image.

We are so used to the human form, and have such ingrained expectations about what to find at the top of the neck, it can't help but be startling.

I guess there is a little visual pun going on here with the woman's face being a watch face.

The background of the sunset was just a place to put the figure and make the whole thing a little more odd.
