I found a nice spread of San Francisco.

I lived in the Bay Area for a few months back in the 1990s. Being from New England, I was curious and fascinated by earthquakes and the prospect of The Big One hitting at any time.

Native Californians just didn't want to talk about earthquakes.

The denial seemed odd to me. I wonder if they would be more interested in talking about being destroyed by a a giant Red Eyed Tree Frog?

It's kind of the California version of Japan's Godzilla.
