Machini the Marvel - Concept Drawing

This is a concept page for Machini to flesh out my idea for the prospective collector.

The basis is a pencil sketch that I then scanned in an enhanced in Photoshop by adding the text and placing the small images on the right.

I decided that the pointy beard looked too sinister, so I gave him a mustache only.

Though it's very small and poorly drawn, the second of the small images on the right is a detail of the mechanism as I first conceived it. Surprisingly, the final piece did follow this basic configuration.

Note the last little picture. That's a top-view of the Geneva mechanism I used. Six notches, six items come out of the hat...could there be a connection?
